Bali is a Top 10 Favorite Travel Destinations In Asia Pacific

Bali occupies a top 10 list of the favorite tourist destinations in the Asia Pacific region, precisely at nine ranked based index of Asia Pacific Destinations premiere of Master Card.

This index ranks to 167 destinations in Asia Pacific.
Bali is ranked 9th by the number of international tourists who stay overnight, ie 7.2 million people.

The first rank was occupied by Bangkok (21.9 million people), followed by Singapore (11.8 million people), Tokyo (11.8 million), Kuala Lumpur (11.3 million), Phuket (9.3 million), Seoul ( 9.2 million), Hong Kong (8.3 million) and Pattaya (8.1 million).

Meanwhile, Osaka is in the lowest position in the top 10 with the number of international tourists who stay overnight as many as 6.5 million people.

The tourism industry in Asia Pacific continued to show strong growth due to the increasing number of tourist destinations that accept tourists more than five million visitors per year.

Asia Pacific tourism industry gives total contribution to GDP in the world, passing through Europe in 2014.

The tourism sector contributed 2.27 trillion dollars to the Asia-Pacific countries as well as providing 153.7 million jobs by 2015.

When based on the amount of tourists, Bali is in 6th place with 10.3 billion dollars. The top ranking occupied Bangkok (15.2 billion dollars), and Seoul (14.4 billion dollars), followed by Singapore (14.1 billion dollars), Tokyo (11.9 billion dollars) and Kuala Lumpur (10, 5 billion US dollars).
