On New Year's Eve 2016 in Bali, all the way to the Kuta Beach will be closed

To avoid congestion at New Year's Eve 2016, all road access to Kuta Beach will be closed. Closure and traffic diversion will be held on December 31, 2015, starting at 2:00 pm. Tourists and residents are encouraged to walk at will through the streets towards Kuta Beach.

Closing the road to Kuta Beach aims to prevent traffic jams on all access roads to the beach. Due to the celebration of New Year's Eve 2016 in Bali will be centered around Kuta Beach. As in previous years, all roads to the Kuta Beach will be filled by people and tourists who celebrate New Year's Eve. Everyone will be partying in the street. One of the most congested roads when New Year's Eve is Jalan Legian.

The road to Kuta beach to be closed and diverted is the traffic that goes through Dewi Sartika to Kuta Beach will be closed and transferred to the Jalan Singasari or Jalan Ciung Wanara-Simpang Bemo Corer-Simpang Temacun-Jalan Setya Budi-Simpang Dewa Ruchi-Jalan Imam Bonjol-By pass Ngurah Rai. Traffic flow from Seminyak to Legian diverted to Jalan Sriwijaya-Jalan Jelantik-Jalan Dewi Sri, then exit at Jalan Sunset Road.

During the closure and traffic diversion, the police will clear the road which is usually made in the parking lot. So all the way to the Kuta Beach will be clean and no vehicles will be parked in all these roads. The police will conduct the cleanup action on December 31, 2015 2:00 pm hour for cleaning parking along Jalan Raya Legian, Jalan Pantai Kuta and Jalan Melasti Kuta Square.

Not only in the way that potential traffic jam, the closure will also be done at some point. Communities that will be redirected to the beach at Central Parking and parking around Kuta. So, to get to the Kuta Beach should be reached on foot.

Traffic flow towards Kuta Beach will be opened and normal after the New Year celebrations complete.
