Dewa Ruci Underpass already impassable
Dewa Ruci underpass has been created, and can be used to traverse the vehicle. For the Balinese, the way this is an honor, because it is the first underpass and the only one in Bali. Although not formalized, but this time the road underpass located at the intersection of Dewa Ruci, Kuta, Bali, went into operation on Tuesday, May 21, 2013. The 450 meter underpass that connects the road to Nusa Dua with Sunset Road.

Dewa Ruci Underpass created with the aim to unravel congestion at the intersection. Because Dewa Ruci intersection is the only intersection that connects major cities in Bali Ngurah Rai Airport, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, and Kuta. All lines that meet at the Dewa Ruci  intersection. So that congestion can not be avoided, especially during busy times. Besides to parse traffic, this road will also be support for international events held in Bali, one of which is the APEC Summit.

Before the Dewaruci Intersection underpass made. Severe congestion often occurs at the intersection. Almost every morning and afternoon, congestion always occurs. Sometimes it takes up many hours to make it through the intersection. Dewa Ruci region is the meeting point of traffic flow, and the main access to and from the Nusa Dua tourist area, Kuta, Sanur, and Ngurah Rai Airport. The area was already saturated condition causing congestion.

But a lot of complaints from people when crossing Dewa Ruci underpass, Kuta, Bali. Residents complain underpass work was not satisfactory, because the roads are made not tidy, and bumpy. When crossing the road, a vibration in the car was palpable. It feels like a wave across the ocean that is frozen. Either because the process is in a hurry, or because of lack of supervision, so the Dewa Ruci underpass uncomfortable to pass.

Regardless of the outcome, Bali residents feel grateful. Underpass because it is able to break the bottleneck is often the case that intersection. So that the travel time can be accelerated at a busy time.
