Bali Police foiled the smuggling of 33 green turtles, at the Port of Tanjung Benoa, Bali, on Sunday, dated December 9, 2012, at night.

Turtles have largely been outstanding for more than 50 years old, allegedly sent from Banyuwangi, East Java. Turtles were abandoned by their owners on a boat. The middle of the night, at 12 o'clock at night, Bali Police inspect a ship without identity rests in the port of Tanjung Benoa. This morning the boat was transporting turtle, moved to Benoa Harbour, and all turtles were evacuated to the Police Office.

Dozens of turtles were mostly gigantic, weighing over 60 kilograms, and only a few turtles are small, weighing between 4 kilograms more.

Police will coordinate with an environmental foundation, to quarantine turtles, before being released to his native habitat. For a while the turtles were deposited in captivity, attacks on the island, Denpasar.

This type of green sea turtles are endangered species are strictly protected. This turtle allegedly smuggled into Bali, to be supplied to restaurants that provide menu turtles illegally.
