Friday at 6 am I left with my family headed to Ulun Danu Batur, attended the ceremony piodalan there.
The Ulun Danu Batur Temple was nestled in the northwest slope of Mount Batur.
When I got Batur, the roads are very bad, my vehicle can not pass through the bottleneck. I was forced to park the car away from the temple Ulun Danu Batur. I walk to the ceremony site.
Arriving at the location of the ceremony, the temple is filled by many people who will do the praying.
The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the manifestation of God as the source of prosperity, but to the people of Batur, conceptually, it takes the form of Dewi Danu, Goddess of Lakes,Waters, and Fertility. The belief that Dewi Danu resides in the temple is inherited hereditary. There is a myth behind the belief, which has created a strong sacral ambience in every corner of the temple, which cannot be ignored.
